India is one of the world's fastest-growing major economies. It had experienced significant economic growth over the past few decades, becoming the sixth-largest economy globally in terms of nominal GDP. India faced many economic challenges that affected its overall condition. India has been investing in infrastructure development to support economic growth. Projects such as the construction of highways, railways, airports, and smart cities aim to improve connectivity, facilitate trade, and attract investments. The Indian government has implemented several structural reforms to boost economic growth and attract investments. Initiatives such as the Goods and Services Tax (GST). Income Inequality, Although poverty rates have been declining over the years, income inequality remains a concern, with a substantial wealth gap between different segments of society. The COVID-19 pandemic further impacted India's economy in 2020, leading to a contraction of 7.3% in GDP, Unemployment has been a persistent issue in India. The pandemic
lockdowns results in various sectors, particularly affecting informal and low-skilled workers, unemployment rates increased. The impact of summer on India's economic conditions can depending on several factors and conditions that can be influenced by various factors, including weather patterns, government policies, global economic trends and many more sectors. Summer is generally associated with agricultural activities and tourism, it's important to note that India is a vast and diverse country, and the effects can differ across regions and sectors. Agriculture plays a significant role in the rural economy of India, Summer is a peak tourist season in many parts of India, especially in popular destinations such as hill stations and coastal areas. The summer season increased energy demand in India, that is characterized by high temperatures, particularly in certain regions. The increased heat leads to a rise in electricity consumption as people rely heavily on cooling appliances like air conditioners and fans. The increased demand for electricity during summer can put pressure on the power infrastructure and impact energy supply. Summer vacations, festivals, and weddings often result in increased consumer spending on travel, leisure activities, clothing, and other related goods and services.
